updating the Lost Ways

Urban Harvest's vision is to grow, quite literally, a business rooted in health and wellness. The main focus for Urban Harvest is to empower families to grow their own source of food in their own yard, and to help create a new culture by adapting to a more self-sustaining healthy way of life that networks communities together. We look forward to incorporating various methods of being more self-sustaining, whether it be with raised beds, chicken coups, green houses, compost bins, canning, potato boxes or consultations. We want people to have the freedom of enjoying nature and the wonderful food that it provides naturally, along with beautiful ways to do it. By networking neighbors throughout communities and local affiliates, we can modernize the lost ways and promote positive culture and healthy organic foods for each other.

Phase 1 of our plan is to grow a community base of Urban Harvesters that use our organic raised beds and services to be able to create a local network of gardeners that produce enough organic food, grown by the consumer and used by the consumer. This community network will include partnerships with our home growers as well as our network affiliates to support the community. 

Phase 2 includes creating and/or working with local farmer markets in each community to have a place to help sell the excess products our Urban Harvesters will be producing, and network with local farmers to provide other organic food back to the community.
