What We Do
Urban Harvest Company provides custom designs and installations for at-home gardens; from raised beds to potato boxes to chicken coops to greenhouses! We also provide all the support you’ll need to sustain a successful harvest with consultations, partnerships, and maintenance services. Our fully customizable system is perfect for residential backyards or commercial settings. At Urban Harvest we work alongside our grower, you; to plan, execute, and grow your at-home garden with our custom raised beds including a unique plan for each family. Eat better, live better, and grow your own food!
Urban Harvest Raised Beds
Whether you want one bed or an entire back yard full, we are happy to assist. Our raised beds and intensive planting methods bring more life and beauty to your space! Handcrafted with Cedar or Pine, our beds can also be kindled for a stylishly charred look. Build, installation, and our proprietary soil blend is included in the price of our beds, making them ready for planting!
Urban Harvest Edible Landscapes
Turn your yard into a functional edible garden. With each unique project, our goal is to grow your favorite vegetables, fruits and herbs and introduce you to new varieties which will taste delicious and look beautiful. We design custom planter beds to fit your style or work with your pre-existing garden. Edible Landscapes are designed to become an integral part of your home, encourage you to get in touch with the seasons, and put food in the foreground of your life.
Urban Harvest Garden Visits
Along with offering a multitude of service package options, we also offer Garden Consultations for the most experienced among us, to those just getting started, and everyone in between. This service is flexible and meant to be a support system for our network of growers to maximize their output and to help get people more involved in their yard and community.
Urban Harvest Proprietary Soil Blend
Garden bed installations can include our proprietary mixed organic soil. Our custom blend is beautifully textured, weed and seed-free mixed soil comprised of a garden mix, soil "conditioner", cow manure, and worm castings. Our organic soil is clean and free from pesticides and herbicides.
What is included in a full installation?
The Urban Harvest full garden bed installation includes the custom crafting of the garden beds, bed assembly, removal of the sod underneath the footprint of the beds where required, leveling of the beds on site, lining the beds with landscape cloth, filling of your bed with our proprietary soil blend, and full clean up. When your installation is completed, you are ready to plant and grow!
Upon arrival, our installation team will consult with you regarding bed placement, working to optimize a variety of considerations including ease of access, best growing conditions, and aesthetics. If you would like additional help choosing foods to grow or plant placement, we can source sprouts or seeds, design a layout, and plant with the assistance of our Garden Master.
