Urban Harvest Garden Visits

Our Gardeners are happy to garden with our clients onsite or they can work independently. You are free to choose!

We believe you deserve the opportunity to enjoy fresh, home grown, organic food that meets your individual eating preferences with as much or as little personal involvement in the growing experience as you desire.

Assistance through Garden Visits are offered to ensure that your garden is growing healthy and abundantly!

We are here to take care of the hard work of building, installing and maintaining food gardens, so you can enjoy the harvest.

Maintenance Service packages

Seasonal Schedule is March through October

Extended services are available in between seasons - Planting - Growing - Harvesting - Winterizing

Green Thumb Package

After you have gotten your garden installed:

Our Garden Gurus will visit once a month for a total of 8 visits. They will schedule this with you so that you have the option of being there if you'd like. Includes 1 fertilization.

Growing Gardener Package

Our Gardeners will visit twice a month for a total of 16 visits. They will schedule this with you so that you have the option of being there if you'd like. Includes 2 fertilizations.

Gotta Sprout Somewhere Package

Our Garden Gurus will visit four times a month for a total of 32 visits. They will schedule this with you so that you have the option of being there if you'd like and want to learn along the way. Includes 4 fertilizations and 1 insect preventative treatment.

*Individual Garden Visits

$65/hour

Our Gardeners will make individual visits to upkeep your garden. This is great for when you are on vacation, or out of town for extended amounts of time. Our Gardeners will work with you on scheduling visits so that you don't stress about your garden while you're away.

*Consultations for Garden Planning

$135/hour

Our first step to delicious, home-grown produce starts with a garden plan. You tell us what you like to eat and we’ll develop a personalized planting plan that produces beautiful, bountiful and continuous harvests to suit your palate and the conditions of your garden site. We will measure your space and take detailed notes to get your garden design options started! You will receive a quote and can then decide if you are ready for us to start the building process for you.

Plant selection guidance and sourcing of organic, local plants
Garden planning, designing and pollinator friendly, companion planting assistance
Full installation with our organic, proprietary soil blend
Optional irrigation systems
Visual inspection of plant health and growth progress
Pruning, reseeding, weeding, watering
Critter barriers, fencing, staking, trellis building as needed
Action plans against pests, disease, and any plant or soil deficiencies
Educational opportunities to learn more about your own garden
Harvesting assistance, communication with client on proper harvesting techniques
Suggested uses for vegetables, fruits, or herbs from the gardens
Record keeping via photos and detailed reports
Inspection of soil health and soil amendment recommendations

Consultations on expansion or revisions to the garden design layout
Seasonal cover crop planting, overwintering, and winterization
Linseed oil application on cedar beds seasonally to maintain wood
